Coach Ray Martinez has been at Central High School since 2006. He has been coaching and teaching since 1997. Coach Ray was head coach at Allen and Sherman High Schools for a combined 5 years. He is currently teaching physical education at CHS.
Martinez graduated at Westmar University (Le Mars, Iowa) in 1992 with a BA in Human Services Recreation. He went on to Texas A&M - Corpus Christi, where he entered a teacher certification program in Kinesiology. He finished in 1996.
Coach played soccer 3 years at Tarkio College. He was named Tarkio Defensive Player of the Year and helped the Owls succeed in many play-off appearances. Martinez finished his playing career at Westmar University as co-captain and helped lead the Eagles to their 1st play-off appearance in school history.
